Eastman Hawk™ CDL

Cloth Drill & CDLH Hot Drill

For marking buttonholes, darts or patterns through the entire lay.

Available in 6", 8" & 111/2"

capacities & with hole diameters ranging from 3/64" up to 3/8". The balanced actuating lever allows almost effortless operation & reduces distortion of the lay. With the attachment of a thermostatically

controlled heating element the drill can leave marks in loosely woven & knit fabrics & can be used to fuse synthetic fabric through a lay eliminating distortion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eastman MP2 Magnum™Punch Perforator

Used extensively in the upholstery trade, permanent markers are made from heavy pattern paper through which a series of holes are punched to form the patterns. Lay powder is then dusted through the holes to leave an outline of the patterns on the top ply of fabric. The Punch Perforator is a solid state machine which cuts four clean holes per inch.

It features adjustable punching strength, three sizes of hole, and a single switch to change between free-wheeling, single punch, or continuous punching. A special underlay pad is available to prolong punch head sharpness.

 

 

Garment Cover Dispensers

A manual machine for use with perforated garment covers on the roll.

The operator pulls the cover over the garment which is hung on an integrated hook. He then tears across the perforations & removes the

bagged garment.

 

 		 

Eastman HVN Hot Notcher

Ideal for placing notches in the lay instead of using a straight knife as the depth adjustment control makes it impossible to notch too deeply. When synthetic fabrics are spread, the Hot Notcher can be used intermittently along the edge of the lay to seal the plies together & eliminate distortion. It has a depth capacity of 10" & a variable heat control from 204°C to 677°C.

 

 

 

Eastman LTM Threadmarker

The Threadmarker inserts a string through each ply of a lay. The thread is then looped around the cut pieces & tied to create a bundle. It can also be used to temporarily marks delicate fabrics when a permanent mark is not desirable. Maximum capacity is 6".

Heatseal Lay Marker Irons

Used in conjunction with Heatseal Marker Paper to iron markers directly onto the top ply of a lay. The marker stays in place throughout the cutting operation & the individual patterns can simply be peeled away from the fabric.

Diazo Pattern Printers

A system that enables photocopying of full size markers of any length. Simply feed a master copy into the machine together with the special sensitised copy paper & the Pattern Printer will make a true copy. Both the original & copy markers are automatically rolled up. Copies faster than a computer plotter – up to 4 metres per minute.

Needle Lights

Needle Lights are mounted onto sewing machines to give the machinist high visibility of the work to be sewn. They are easy to install, fully adjustable & can be supplied with a double-insulated transformer. We are able to offer a full range, including:

• Black Light – Ultra-Violet for viewing fluorescent chalk marks
