The polythene seals the vacuum within the lay in order
to stabilise the fabric for accurate cutting whilst the Perforated
Underlay allows the vacuum to be drawn through the fabric and stops the
fabric and any dust or lint from being drawn into the bristle bed. It
also provides a medium for the lay to be moved from spreading to cutting
tables.

Perforated Underlay
Available in three hole formations and five qualities of
paper to ensure there is a product to suit all requirements. Use smaller
holes for delicate fabrics, tighter hole formations for cutting smaller
pieces and heavier papers for moving heavy lays on the table.
